One might say that Sally’s creative spirit  encourages her audiences to connect with   magic, imagination and wonder as seen only through the eyes of a child.  In sharing her works with us she  provides an environment in which we can  find  and reconnect with,

…our inner child..

Arts

In addition to writing, Sally has been a long time quilter who,  involves herself in a variety of other activities such as …making dolls, teddy bears, puppets and santas.  When asked why… she will tell you “it’s kind of magical to see each little creation come to  life” .  Collecting is another  love of hers as well ,which is obvious  when one sees the jars and jars of colorful buttons lined up in her sewing room, the heart shaped stones she has found and displays in a red fused glass plate, along with  her family of small metal insects which can be seen  displayed each summer in her back  deck. Sally enjoys the challenge of  finding and buying much of her materials at thrift and second hand stores. Friends have helped her in collecting and she is thrilled each time a jar of buttons or a unique heart shape stone is sent her way.
