From one of the visitors to my site….do you know???
Exactly who cited the following quotation? . . . .
- Give me Liberty, or give me Death!
- Diligence is the mother of good luck.
- A house divided against itself cannot stand.
- Not many men have both good fortune and good sense.
Comment back if you know the answers. Uh..Uh…no..no..no…don’t touch those keys…we can all find the answers on the internet…how about instead …you just take a stab at it for fun????
I will admit…off the top of my head…

Okay, I didn’t look it up but from memory from schooldays:
1. Can’t remember, but a couple of historical figures said the same thing. I only recall one English member of parliament during the English Civil War of the mid-1600s said it.
2. Can’t remember, but it sure wasn’t Saddam Hussein.
3. Abraham Lincoln. (Funny I remember this: I’m not even American.)
4. My dad, who was fairly famous (in his own area of architecture) but pretty sure it wasn’t for this quote.
